1928 CHEVROLET FOUR DOOR TOURER

2.8-litre 4cyl, manual. This green Chevrolet National AB Tourer was imported to the UK from Australia and registered here in 1998. It was being MoT tested regularly up to 2012, and the odometer shows 43,309 miles.

A note in the history file reports that the car was originally supplied new to Australia in right-hand drive, bodied by Holden and fitted with the 2.8-litre (171 cu-in) engine and manual transmission. (The V5C records the engine size as 421cc, but this is believed to be an error.) The note reports that a restoration was carried out in Australia during 1990-92. 

Paperwork includes various receipts from the last few years, MoT certificates, previous and current versions of the V5C indicating 4 keepers in this country, correspondences, insurance documents, and papers relating to the car's shipment from Western Australia in 1998. The current keeper acquired it in 2022. Reported to have been converted to 12V.
