1956 FORDSON E83W VAN

1172cc, manual. This lovely Fordson E83W van dates from towards the end of production. It's believed to be wearing its original Kent-issued registration number, having been re-registered in 1983 after presumably falling off the DVLA database. The V5C records 8 keepers since then.

There are no maintenance receipts with the van, but it does come with photos showing a comprehensive restoration. The MoT history shows that it was tested 5 times without advisories from 2006-2014 (beginning that period with 1 mile showing on the odometer) and the last certificate expired in 2015. The odometer is now showing 471 miles. The vendor has had it for a couple of years; he tells us it “runs well”, and the electrics have been converted to 12v.

The van is also supplied with original instruction books, an original parts catalogue and a couple of boxes of spare parts.
