1963 FORDSON NEW PERFORMANCE SUPER DEXTA

2.5-litre diesel. The ‘New Performance’ was a high-power version of the sought-after Fordson Super Dexta tractor. This example comes with a large collection of receipts from the vendor's tenure, which began in 2023. He tells us it has received a “cosmetic rebuild only”, with work including new brakes, oil seals, bearings, ball joints etc, and a repaint in Fordson Empire Blue.

The tractor was built at Dagenham, and according to a dating letter from the Ford & Fordson Association it is understood to have remained in the UK all its life. (Some were exported to the USA.) The V5C records its first registration being in 2025, after presumably falling off the DVLA database.

The vendor has supplied a USB drive containing photos, in addition to the tractor's V5C and a collection of receipts. He advises that the hydraulics are “lazy”.
