1982 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE 1500

1493cc, manual. This yellow Triumph Spitfire has been registered to its present keeper since 2004. Finished in Inca Yellow, it's equipped with Minilite alloy wheels, and the gearlever suggests that an optional overdrive is fitted. Although exempt from MoT testing requirements, the car has seen little use since its last MoT expired in 2014, so recommissioning will be required. The V5C gives the year of registration as 1982 (after production ended) and describes the Spitfire as being “assembled from parts some or all of which were not new”.

Paperwork comprises MoT certificates going back to 1997, various receipts for parts and maintenance dating from 2004-5 and 2013, and previous & current versions of the V5C which indicate 6 former keepers. The file also contains an original handbook, BL competition preparation manual, photos of the car and a club magazine.
