1967 VOLVO AMAZON

1780cc, manual. This cherished Volvo Amazon has been in the vendor's family since 2002 and is now being sold due to a bereavement. Its keeper since 2003 has kept a large collection of paperwork, using the car primarily for classic car shows and MoT testing it annually. The current certificate is valid to 11th November.

Drivability has been improved by the addition of a brake servo, and the overdrive was replaced 5 years ago. The engine is a twin-carb variant of the famously durable 1.8-litre petrol. 

The history file contains MoT certificates going back to 1997, together with an impressive stack of maintenance receipts from throughout the latest keeper's ownership. Its odometer is indicating 33,425 miles. (The MoT history suggests the odometer clicked over 100k around 2002-3).

The car is also supplied with spare keys, a spare front seat cushion and a new spare tyre. It was registered in October 1967, and the V5C records 8 former keepers.
