1996 VOLVO 850R

2310cc petrol, auto. The 850R was introduced in 1996 as the high-performance successor to the limited-edition T-5R, with a turbocharged 5-cylinder petrol engine producing 240bhp. This eye-catching example is a recent Japanese import, UK registered in May this year. Finished in Bright Red, it's equipped with a high-spec and original interior featuring heated beige leather and Alcantara seats, original mats, 200W premium audio system, sunroof, cruise control and air conditioning. The odometer shows only 142,025 kms (88,250 miles). 

The car has not yet been MoT tested, but the vendor says it has been freshly undersealed and “fully prepared for UK roads by a Volvo specialist, receiving an engine oil and filter service alongside a critical new timing belt installation upon arrival. The sale includes the V5C and UK number plates." The vendor is also providing a 3-month warranty.

The car was UK registered in May this year, and its date of first registration is given as 1st May 1996, making this an early example of the 850R. Its V5C indicates no former keepers in the UK.
