1971 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL

7.5-litre (460cu in) V8, automatic. This spectacular Lincoln Continental MkIII is powered by the 385-series “big block” V8. It's finished in pale metallic green with an ivory leather interior, and its many interesting features includes vacuum-operated hidden headlamps, air conditioning and a Cartier clock in the dash. It survives in impressive overall condition, a fine example of this supremely comfortable and solidly engineered luxury coupe.

The car has been in the UK since 2006, and passed its last (optional) MoT in 2018. Although we don’t have any maintenance receipts, the vendor tells us that it is running well, having just been serviced and treated to many new parts including the alternator, brakes and exhaust back-box. A few parts and spare jump cables are included.
