1980 RELIANT SCIMITAR GTC

This blue Reliant Scimitar GTC has a 2.9-litre EFi Scorpio engine, which the vendor tells us makes it quite economical to run. The gearbox is a four-speed manual with overdrive. The odometer is reading 57,286 miles, and the car was first registered on 25th June 1980. 

The latest MoT expired in 2012, but the Scimitar is old enough to be MoT-exempt we’re told it “drives really well with no known issues”. It comes with a current V5C indicating three former keepers.

Last summer the engine had both its cylinder heads removed, pressure tested, skimmed and rebuilt with new valve seats and valves. It has also recently had a full service, including plugs and filters, done by the owner.
