1988 BMW E30 3 SERIES SE

This former BMW 320i (E30) SE is now powered by a 3-litre straight-six S50 engine from the E36 M3, with a custom Scorpion exhaust and full E30 Sport leather interior. The gearbox is a six-speed manual, coupled to an E36 limited-slip diff, and the fully Polybushed suspension uses custom coilovers, with braking provided by Willwood 4-pot calipers. The odometer is showing 248,114 miles, and we're told the 289bhp engine benefits from a recent timing chain.

The car was manufactured in 1988 and first registered in 1994. Its MoT is valid to 16th July 2026 and the vendor describes it as having “no known issues”, but advises that it is probably due a service. It has spent more than 10 years in dry storage.

The engine swap is not recorded with the DVLA or on the HPi report, but the HPi does show a colour change from the original black in 2016. We do not have the V5C so the next owner will need to apply to the DVLA for a new one.
