1992 LOTUS ELAN SE TURBO

1588cc manual. This Lotus Elan SE Turbo (M100) has just received a new cambelt and coolant pump, and it comes with an MoT to which is valid to 22nd January 2027. We're told it has been used 3-4 times a week and “runs smoothly” giving “very strong performance”. The odometer is showing 57,897 miles.

Finished in Aqua Blue, the car has been in the same family's ownership since 2020, and its V5C shows 4 former keepers. It's equipped with a few desirable performance upgrades including a Piper 2.5in exhaust, Elanchip Everest 4.2 chip and K&N air filter resulting in an estimated 200bhp. The interior also features a Blaupunkt DAB radio and CD player. 

It comes with spare keys, MoT certificates, handbook pack, service log with 11 stamps up to 33k miles in 2004 (almost all from the same Lotus dealer in London) and a large stack of receipts indicating ongoing maintenance since then. Highlights from the last 18 months include a new clutch, front and rear wheel bearings, CV joint and boot, and the aforementioned cambelt and coolant pump. The car also received a couple of rustproofing treatments back in the 1990s, the last being stamped as a 4-year treatment in 1997.

The vendor advises that the passenger side window works but needs some help to rise.
