1995 LOTUS ESPRIT TURBO S4

This mega-rare Lotus Esprit S4 GT Commemorative Limited Edition is number 11 of 11, finished in Lotus Racing Green Metallic. Its odometer shows 49,750 miles, and the current keeper has owned it since 2018, having driven it over 2000 miles including a trouble-free trip to the Le Mans 24-hour race.

Original specification includes yellow wheel centres, Raven leather interior, Sport 300 rear aerofoil, Sport 300-style competition seats in Raven leather, Clarion radio/CD player and a red leather steering wheel.

The car comes with meticulous maintenance receipts and MoT certificates, together with a handbook pack containing a service log recording 11 entries. The most recent service, at 49,476 miles in 2020, included gearbox oil changes, injector cleaning and other works. At the preceding service, at 47,512 miles in 2019,  the 2.2-litre turbocharged engine received a cambelt change, and the clutch was replaced at 47,157 miles in 2016.

A Lotus certificate of provenance confirms that the car was manufactured in November 1994 and originally sold by Storm of Leicester. It was first registered on 13th March 1995, and its current MoT is valid until 30th April 2027.
