This Austin 1800 saloon has been owned by the same father and son from new. It has been off the road for a number of years, and is described by the vendor as a “perfect candidate for a rolling restoration”. The odometer shows 80,412 miles.

The engine runs (and benefits from a recent battery) but it will require recommissioning, and no attempt has been made to drive the car on the road. The vendor advises that the hydraulics will need attention, as the brakes and clutch feel firm.

Spare keys are present, but there are no maintenance receipts. The car is supplied with a 1995 tax disc, original handbook and service book recording 13 services up to 45k miles in 1982, and its V5C which indicates only 1 former keeper. It was first registered on 20th April 1972.
