1998 MORGAN TOURER
This unique Morgan started life as a +4, using Rover's 2.0-litre T16 4cyl engine, and first registered on 11th June 1998. Since then it has spent some years as a testbed for local Rover V8 specialist RPi Engineering, powered by various interesting V8s all the way up to 5.5-litres. The car also featured in RPi's promotional material, wearing many upgrades and accessories. Today it's powered by a 3.5-litre Rover V8 with manual transmission, a red leather interior, and range of modifications for competition or touring enjoyment.
The history file contains a good collection of old MoT certificates and maintenance receipts, with highlights including the installation of a folding windscreen conversion kit (2019), and a bespoke stainless exhaust system (2015).
The car is supplied with a spare key and its current V5C showing 4 former keepers. Its latest MoT was passed with no advisories but expired in 2024.
