1935 AUSTIN ASCOT 12/6

This handsome Austin Ascot 12/6 saloon is sold as a project requiring an engine rebuild. The 1.6-litre engine is supplied but is not in the car, and the vendor advises that it will require 3 big ends. He believes that “the rest of the car seems ok”, and its odometer shows 44,187 miles.

The green paintwork is complemented by a green interior which appears to have received a restoration at some stage, although the only receipt relates to stripping the engine in 2017. Paperwork also comprises previous and current V5Cs, three old MoT certificates (2010-12), a copy of an original handbook, and an original “running and maintenance instructions” handbook. 

The car was re-registered in 1984, and its V5C indicates a total of 4 registered keepers since then.
