1986 MORRIS MINI

This gold Morris Mini shows 32,773 miles on its odometer. The latest MoT was passed with no advisories and expired in 2024, but from January 2027 it will be exempt from testing requirements. The history file contains a few MoT certificates and various receipts, mostly dating from 2012-13. 

We're told the 998cc engine has been rebuilt using a 1275cc block with new piston rings and crank bearings, with a ported and polished unleaded head, Kent 286 cam kit and duplex Vernier timing gear. It's fitted with a MED balanced flywheel (orange diaphragm) and new clutch, and delivers power through a rebuilt gearbox (including centre pick-up pipe) to a 3.44 ratio differential.

The car's history file also contains the current V5C which shows 7 former keepers. It was first registered on 29th January 1987.
