1974 FORD CORTINA PICK-UP

1600cc, manual. This restored Ford Cortina pick-up “Bakkie” was imported to the UK from South Africa in 2021, and there have been 3 registered keepers since then. Receipts show that it was bought that year from The Car Cave (a specialist in importing classic Fords) and sent to Surrey where it received a restoration that cost well over £7k. Work included a full rebuild of the 1.6-litre engine, a custom exhaust, various upgrades around the engine bay, a gearbox rebuild and a full professional respray in dark blue (not included in the £7k receipt). 

The history file contains a large collection of receipts from the vehicle's time in the UK, photos of the vehicle mid-restoration, handbook pack, a copy of its South African registration certificate, and its current V5C. The odometer is showing 29,292 miles.
