1988 VW GOLF CABRIO GTI MKII

This white 1.8-litre Golf GTi Cabriolet has been in the vendor's ownership since 2007. It comes with a good collection of receipts and MoT certificates going back to 2006, along with the handbook pack and 2 sets of keys. The odometer reads 111,064 miles and the car holds an advisory-free MoT valid until July 2026. It was first registered on 27th April 1988.

Mechanical upgrades include Mk2 Golf front brakes, rear disc brakes, an upgraded brake servo and 22.2mm master cylinder, and a 20mm reduction in ride height. A new hood was fitted in 2024 and the cambelt was replaced in 2025. The vendor tells us that it "starts and drives fun but has not been used for a few years", so some recommissioning may be required. 

Please note, the central locking is not operating on the passenger side, and the heater blower is not functioning.
