1275cc, manual. This MG Midget comes with a huge collection of receipts for parts and maintenance that appear to cover almost its entire life. The Bronze paintwork is believed to be the car's original shade, and the odometer shows 73,555 miles.
Receipts indicate structural restoration work in 2009, and some refurbishments have taken place over the last few years. Although there don't appear to be any receipts for this latest work, an advert for the car from its last sale in 2021 suggests that, since then, it has received a respray, alloy wheels, a new bonnet and underseal treatment. The advert describes the car as “incredibly original and not messed with” and says that it had been in use until the last MoT (which was passed with no advisories) expired in 2021.
The service log records 9 services in the car's first 25k miles up to 1975, with many services mentioned in receipts since then. Paperwork also includes a large stack of MoT certificates and tax discs, parts catalogues, and the V5C which records only 3 former keepers.
A cover and a box of parts are included in the boot.
