1988 FORD ESCORT RS TURBO

This black Mk4 Ford Escort RS Turbo has been newly rebuilt from a bare shell using as many original parts as possible, and has an advisory-free MoT to 27th August 2026. The interior features electric windows and sunroof, in addition to those essential Recaro seats. The vendor bought it in October last year, purely to restore, and its previous keeper had owned it since 2004. The odometer shows 68,065 miles.

The recent work included an engine rebuild, stainless exhaust, new turbo, clutch and brakes. The body shell was cleaned and undersealed, and the suspension was shot blasted and powder coated. 

The history file contains a few receipts from the previous keeper's tenure, some old MoT certificates going back to 2001, and previous and current versions of the V5C. The car was first registered on 28th August 1988.
