2286cc. This Land Rover 109" 4-cylinder has several Series III features, although the chassis range is listed as a Series II. It has a Series III chassis, brake servo and Fairey overdrive. The vendor advises that its unusual spec includes the Safari body with 12 seats and purpose-built extra large fuel tank. Evidence of it being used as a shooting vehicle includes rear door with extra locking door for gun use. It has two spare wheels, four side steps and rear step plus freewheel hubs. The vehicle has been checked for safety including the chassis. New master and slave clutch cylinders and flexi hoses have been fitted. The brakes would benefit from a wheel off inspection. Registered to its last owner since 2012, it comes with V5C, vendor's information sheet and SORN notice. The mileage is recorded at 67,660. An HPI check indicates that the colour was changed from green to blue in February 2012; however, there is no evidence of this on the vehicle and the vendor is unaware of any repaint.
