1965 MORRIS MINI MOKE
Although declared by the DVLA to have been manufactured in 1965, a recent Heritage Certificate shows this Morris Mini Moke was actually built in November 1964; the first year of production and one of only around 100 UK examples known to exist. Little history is known save for it being dispatched to Parkside Garages in Coventry and possibly spending some time abroad as it was fitted with rough terrain Weathermaster tyres and no heater. Presumably having dropped off the DVLA database, it was re-registered in October 1990 and now has four registered keepers showing on its V5C with its odometer showing 27,071 miles. There's no record of an MoT back to 2005, when online records began.
It is now being sold as a restoration project, although the Moke looks substantially complete. Parts supply is still very good for these cars, especially the mechanical bits which are Mini items. Paperwork with Moke includes the V5C and Heritage Certificate.
