1929 ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM II
This 1929 Rolls Royce Phantom 11, chassis number GN 60 is being sold on behalf of a deceased estate. In the same ownership since 1979 when purchased from Berkhamsted Sports Cars for £10,500. It is understood that the body was fitted in Australia by Martin & King. The Car comes with a 1954 dated buff log book that records GN60 as having been imported from India and ownership in the 1950's through to the 1970's was with Rowland Coles from Wimborne Dorset before passing to Sir Christopher White of Norfolk then Adams Oliver Ltd of Warboys Huntingdon and finally Peter Fairey of Linton Cambridgeshire. We understand that the bodywork and trim was restored in the early 1980's and some engine work carried out in the early 1990's to include a new cylinder head and radiator re-core. Although the car has been running and driving, it has not been used much in the past 17 years and will require some recommissioning. Comes with the 1979 bill of sale, buff log book, V5 and 10 MoT certificates from 1982 at 44,795 miles to 1996 at 45,387 miles. 45,422 recorded miles
