This 1964 Sunbeam Alpine convertible has been professionally fitted with a 2.8-litre Ford V6 Cologne engine coupled to  a five-speed Type 9 gearbox. This was carried out in 2005 at the same time as a comprehensive body restoration, both of which are detailed in the history file with photographs. An alloy bellhousing from a Ford Sierra 4x4 was used. Front and rear Spax shock absorbers have also been fitted, along with custom-made stainless steel manifolds mated to a Sunbeam Tiger exhaust system. 14in Superlite alloys are fitted as well. A rolling road print-out shows power at 134bhp. The vendor regards the car as in good structural condition but notes there are some cosmetic areas on the paintwork that would benefit from attention.

The Sunbeam was registered in June 1964 and is showing 22,132 miles on its odometer. It has an MoT through to August 2025 even though, as an historic vehicle, it is now MoT-exempt. The V5C still notes the original engine of 1748cc, so this will need to be updated with the DVLA. Paperwork includes the V5C, MoT certificates, invoices, a build manual for the V6 conversion, parts catalogues, the rolling road print-out and photos, both in print and CD-ROM form.
