1981 FORD ESCORT XR3

This is an early XR MkIII Ford Escort, featuring a twin-choke Weber carburettor rather than the fuel injection of the 1982-on XR3i variants. It was registered in February 1981 and is now showing 74,365 miles on its odometer. There's no record of an MoT back to 2005, when online MoT records began; however, as an historic vehicle, the Escort no longer requires annual testing. It is fitted with RS1600 wheels, bodykit and decals plus its original radio. Recent work includes a new exhaust, tyres, cambelt and floorpans; it also comes with a refurbished petrol tank ready to be fitted. The Ford is running and driving.
