This 1972 5.7-litre Ford Mustang was first registered in the USA during 1972 and imported to the UK in 1983. The recorded keeper for the past nine years has passed away, resulting in the Mustang's auction entry. It was dry stored until around a year ago when a tree fell onto the garage damaging the bonnet and windscreen.

Our vendor had the Mustang running earlier this year with some improvisation; a video of the engine running can be seen on our website. It should be noted that the car does not run and drive now due to these improvisations being removed (a direct live to the coil and direct live to the outward side of the starter solenoid). The car does roll freely however and will easily load onto a trailer or transporter with a winch. Our vendor also states that if you look beyond the flaking paint, the Mustang does appear to be a fairly solid car and worthy of restoration. Paperwork includes the current and old V5Cs, some old MoTs (there's no record of an MoT back to 2005, when online MoT records began; however, as an historic vehicle, the Mustang will now be MoT-exempt) and sundry other paperwork.
